You can usually move around freely in forests and other natural areas on foot, skis or by bike, if you are causing little or no disturbance or damage. For this reason, you may only move across fields in the winter. When moving without any kind of machine assistance, you are free to roam both public and private roads, such as cottage and forest roads. You may even ride an e-bike in these areas, as long as the electrical system does not allow speeds over 25km/h. You must not intrude on people’s privacy or enter their yards without permission.
