Down with fossils!

When fossil fuels are burned, they release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Our society is dependent on oil. We use it as a lubricant and fuel, and we manufacture plastics from it. Crude oil is a finite natural resource.

Wood is an alternative to oil and to the products manufactured from it. Plastic made from wood oil already exists. Wood-based plastics and fuels do not compete for a food-production raw material, unlike soya and palm oil.
